metabion´s efforts to implement and translate our extended Quality philosophy/policy & Credo into practice have been successfully completed with the quality certificate under ISO 13485:2003 granted by the certification company and notified body DQS. ISO 13485 is an international standard for quality systems supporting the design, development, and manufacture of medical devices. This achievement highlights metabion´s commitment and ability to develop and produce custom oligonucleotides according to international quality standards and in compliance with our customers´ regulatory requirements beyond Research & Development applications.

Moreover, our production facilities have been successfully recertified according to the ISO standard 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008 is the globally implemented standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships. metabion has been certified according to the currently effective ISO 9001 standard since March 2001.
