DY510XL was developed by Dyomics GmbH and it is characterized by a long Stoke-shift, which is defined as the difference between the excitation and the emission maxima.

This dye performs well with qPCR probes on LightCycler real-time PCR machines, and it is suitable for gel electrophoresis, FISH microscopy and microarray experiments.
