ATTO 390 is an innovative fluorescent dye based on a coumarin structure. It is characterized by a high fluorescence quantum yield, significant Stokes shift, excellent photo-stability, and low molecular weight. ATTO 390 exhibits moderate hydrophilicity and can be efficiently excited within the 360 - 410 nm range. An ideal excitation source for this dye is a Mercury Arc Lamp, particularly with its emission lines at 365 nm and 405 nm.
