ATTO 532 is a fluorescent label related to the well-known Rhodamine 6G dye. It is characterized by strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, excellent photo-stability, and superb water solubility. These properties make ATTO 532 ideal for single-molecule detection, flow cytometry (FACS), fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH), and more. The dye is most efficiently excited within the 515 - 545 nm range, with the 532 nm output of a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser being an appropriate excitation source.
Atto 532 (Figure 1) can be used as an alternative of Alexa Fluor® 532.
