ATTO 633 is part of a new generation of fluorescent dyes designed for the red spectral region. It is characterized by strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and excellent thermal and photostability, making it ideal for single-molecule detection, advanced microscopy techniques, flow cytometry (FACS) and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH).
ATTO 633's absorption and fluorescence are stable across a wide pH range (2 to 11) in typical applications. This cationic dye, once coupled to a substrate, has a net positive charge of +1 and is moderately hydrophilic. Its fluorescence is optimally excited within the 610-645 nm range, and it is compatible with excitation sources like the 633 nm He:Ne laser or a 635 nm diode laser.
Atto 633 (Figure 1) can be used as an alternative of Alexa Fluor®633 or Alexa Fluor®635, and LIZ.
