ATTO Rho6G is a rhodamine-based dye derived from the widely recognized laser dye Rhodamine 6G. It is characterized by strong absorption, an exceptionally high fluorescence quantum yield, and excellent thermal and photostability. The dye is moderately hydrophilic and, once attached to a substrate, has a net positive charge of +1. Its fluorescence can be effectively excited within the 515 - 545 nm range, with the 532 nm line of a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser being a suitable excitation source.
Atto Rho6G (Figure 1) can be used as an alternative of Alexa Fluor®532 and VIC.
