DBCO-TEG

DBCO-TEG (Figure 1) is usually used in copper-free click reactions, where DBCO-TEG-modified oligos and azide modifiers are conjugated in organic solvents, such as DMSO, or aqueous buffers. With DBCO-TEG, a TEG spacer separates the oligonucleotide from the DBCO, and from the Azide modifier, once the “click” reaction is complete. metabion offers DBCO-TEG as a modification in its DNA portfolio.
